I was still in Australia when Celine & Tristan contacted me for their wedding. I accepted without much thought because it allowed me to make a quick return to France for friends and family, but more specially because I wanted to do this wedding, it was just a great challenge for me, to be the offical photographer ! I had so much ideas,Celine had given me a “free way” and allowed me to go into the art direction that I wanted … That was great! She trusted me from the beginning to the end of the day without wories , it was going to give it to me even more motivated to do something original and “cool”, as far as possible photos Kitsch and frozen can be seen everywhere in France. I was very (too much ?) required with myself, and having prepared this wedding for months, so the D-Day I  just had fun working without worrying about the technique I mastered more or less: the pictures speak Moreover for themselves, unabashed! I did not hesitate to discuss with all guests, almost like a guest, while remaining professional and obviously all worked very well since everyone without exception has taken left in the game . After 17 hours of work and over more 900 photos, I decided to install a quick studio to have really funny pictures! What a Succes ! The weather that day was particularly good: sunny all day.

What about my material for those who are interested, I shot with a Nikon D300s – an ultra wide angle 12-24 and a 50mm 1.4 for portraits. It did not bother to switch completely to the contrary, each time, I’m for thinking about my frames and shoot “quality” and not “quantity”. Some people advised me to take a lense like 24-70 or 70-200, and instead I found it perfect. I’m not a big fan of telephoto lenses because it means I must be away from people in my corner and strafe. This would clearly not given the same photos, I am convinced now.

It was an extraordinary day for me and I loved to tell a story in picture.
